Waist Training and Back (Underarm) Fat

Been waist training for a while now and I just love it. I love how it feels on my body, tightening my tummy. I love seeing the curve and that small waistline. The only annoying thing about it is the back fat or the back underarm fat.

Waist training won’t magically remove your fat away. It’s the common misconception when it comes to waist training. That when you wear a waist trainer, it will make your fats go away instantly, permanently. But without regular exercise and proper diet, that fat will just be pushed either towards up your body or down to your butt. In my case, and I guess, partly because I’m still breastfeeding, my fat is being pushed upwards creating that annoying back side fat.

I have been doing some exercises now and have been monitoring my food intake to eliminate some fats and to lose weight also. Meanwhile, I’ve experimented on different ways to hide the back fat while wearing my Curves Waist Cincher.

Here are some tips to help hide those back (underarm) fats.

Wearing wide side coverage bras

I find this most effective in covering those back side fats. Bras with wider sides are not only the most comfortable and gives the best support, but can also definitely hide those underarm fats away.

Wearing underwire bras

Although not the most comfortable way, I find wearing underwire bras while waist training is also effective in making you look good overall. Personally, though, it becomes really uncomfortable specially since I’m still breastfeeding. The added weight of my “milk producing” breasts makes it difficult to wear a waist trainer and an underwire bra at the same time.

Wearing a tank top before the waist cincher and your final top or shirt

Wearing a thin tank top before putting on the waist cincher not only helps lessen the chances of getting rashes, but it also helps hide those extra fat away.

Moving the waist trainer up more to cover most of the back underarm fat

Depending on your body type, if you are heavier on top, you can pull the waist cincher up to cover most part of your upper body, thus lessening the upper back fat. Alternatively, you can pull it downwards to cover your belly pooch if your problem is more on the bottom part of your body.

Of course, exercise and proper diet

Obviously, exercising and eating healthier would help very much in losing those extra fats. Waist training does help lose some of your fat and would definitely make your body curvier and leaner. But those fats will not go away entirely without exercise and eating cleaner.
